Caledon Perenelle Changes Hands

The rumor mill had rumblings that Duke Ambiant Kukulkan and Duchess Anna Darwinian (somehow that makes them sound married...disabuse yourselves of the notion) had divested themselves of Perenelle, so I went to investigate.

Indeeed, the new owners of Dame Ordinal's former land are Miss Kitsuko Pelazzi and Miss Alana Steamweaver, the new Duchesses of Perenelle. The land itself has few structures upon it, and even fewer clues as to what might happen with it.

I was very fortunate to meet Miss Pelazzi when I called unannounced. (Shockingly bad manners, I realize. If you dealt with the criminal element as often as I do, you, too, would find it advantageous to drop in unannounced.) Her Grace noted that the enormous structure below is a lecture hall, designed for social scientists and others researching SL. Note its chairs arranged in a circle and mysterious writing on the large set of doors (second photo below).




Some residential buildings are also in evidence.

I will make a note to revisit Perenelle in the not-too-distant future to see what else may be occurring there.
