Continuing my travels through New Babbage, I found myself in Wheatstone Waterways.
Above and below, the Wheatstone Aethernautical Society headquarters.
A very impressive building indeed!
Above and below, the Central Terminal, providing easy air access to Wheatstone Waterways and the rest of Babbage.
Next is McBride's Atelier.
Charming, both outside and in.
Finally, we have the Paul Sweedlepipe School of Municipally-Enforced Scholarship (a name worthy of Doctor Obolensky himself!).
At first, I thought that keeping the urchins occupied and, dare one hope, learning a little something would be an unalloyed good.
Sitting in the classroom, however, brought back all those memories of my own classrom days. Ahhhh, the boredom! Make it stop! Sorry, where was I? Oh yes, smacking the knuckles of unruly schoolboys. Yes, a good thing for the citizens of Babbage.
I don't have to go back, though, do I?

Thank you so much, Miss Breezy - I'm glad you enjoyed the post! I do so love exploring Babbage...(And I didn't know that the good, I mean, the evil Dr. Obolensky built the schoolhouse. That explains some of the aura of fear and despair I felt, although it's possible that was nothing more than a flashback to my own school days.
