Following the Typist for a Bit; The Art of Procrastination

Two topics in one! My typist is taking a short trip, so I will be off-line for the better part of a week. God willing, there will be some pictures when I return. As usual, I shall not bore whatever remains of my audience with too many pictures of what the typist insists on calling "Real Life" (such a typist-centric term, is it not?), but I may post a small number of entertaining ones. In the meanwhile, I have several entries in the queue, including several by Super Sister Kathy, though perhaps not enough to cover the entire trip.

That brings me two item two, The Art of Procrastination. I'm quite good at it. I have Plans, I make Lists, and still I find myself at the end of the day (or week) with less accomplished than anticipated. For example, I had planned to post a brief narrative work, which is written and needs only proofing and posting, but life got in the way. Could I have made time for it? I suppose so, but I have been a bit squeezed for time, some things had to go, and it turned out that was one of those things. I wish I were a more organized person, and Cthulhu knows I have spent enough money on gadgets to organize my time that I could retire at least a week earlier had I invested the money placed the money under my mattress. I suppose some things are Not Meant to Be. It's something of an inconvenience, however.

To recap: a well-organized Rhianon would have left behind a week's worth of content. Actual Rhianon has left something less than that. See you all in about a week!

And on a connected note, when I (or rather the typist) buggered off to Canada for 3 weeks, I/he scheduled about 15 posts to cover his absense (as well as writing 3 more in quite times). Now I can't stop - I try to keep 2-4 weeks ahead and it may, in fact, kill me :-D
