Coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month (what's with all the renaming of months? Are ancient Romans no longer in vogue?) is the second annual BoobieThon in Winterfell. Not just a one-day event as last year - this year several events are planned, spanning nearly a week. Once again, the tireless duo of Lady Eva Bellambi and Seneschelf Serra Anansi have planned and will host the events, with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Things kick off with the Boobie Ball - pictures from last year's event are in the link - or, rather, Boobie Balls, as there are two this time around: Friday evening, Oct. 2, at 6:30 p.m. SLT; and Saturday afternoon, Oct. 3, starting at noon SLT. Both in Winterfell. (Cursing the Fates, I don't think I can make either of them. Fie.)
On Monday, Oct. 5, at 4:00 p.m. SLT is an Ice Cream Social and innertube races, also in Winterfell. Finally, on Wednesday, Oct. 7, starting at 6:30 p.m. SLT are a pair of limerick contests. First up is something termed a "limerick joust," with winners determined by a panel of judges. Then comes a "limerick melee" - that sounds dangerous! - with winners determined by donation. This is in Winterfell Anodyne.
