Exhibit: "Look At Me!"

This was to be one of Sister's Journal entries, but she had a wee problem (see below), and asked me to cover it instead.

Miss Callipygian Christensen has a new exhibit, entitled "Look At me!", of avatar portraits, located here.

Sister and I know so few people outside the Steamlands that we are always surprised to see someone we recognize, not least when this occurs in Gallery of Art. But lo! who should we have here but Mr. HeadBurro Antfarm himself!

Rhianon set her Aetheric Transportation Device for the Tabula Rasa sim, only to receive a message "Cannot teleport - banned from region." After trying several other, connected sims, she concluded that she was, indeed, having a region-wide problem. I entered the region with no difficulty, as did our friend, Dr. Tesla Steampunk. A little experimentation showed that the partictular SL client in use was not at issue, nor were the land settings.

Could it be that sweet young Rhianon has actually been banned from an entire estate? She has made enquiries of the proper authorities, so Stay Tuned for Further Developments.

hehe! Calli's been a mate ever since she took that pic (with an AO, which I used to wear all the time but never do except for posing in pics).

That pic marked the turning point in my second life - I had seen on Natasha Chernov's blog that she was entering a steampunk photo copntest - I didn't enter but I went to the awards in a small gallery owned by Osprey Therian. Calli saw me there, IMed me and took some snaps - been mates ever since. But then at the opening of her exhibition at the gallery on one Enjah Mysterio I met Enjah and Osprey properly and they were to become my firm friends and creative partners right up to the present day :)

Interesting...I suppose I should not be surprised, as Second Life often seems like a large village, where the degrees of separation are small if not nonexistent. Still, I was startled upon seeing that photograph. :)

Of course, I still cannot see it directly. *grumbles*

Update: I haven't tried it yet, but, as of October 22, I was informed that I was once again welcome in the sims.
