Men and Women in Kilts

Kathy stopped in at the Men and Women in Kilts event at Thistle Hill Keep, in Oxbridge Village. The event, hosted by Their Graces, Erasmus Margulis and Autopilotpatty Poppy, featured Miss Poppy's portraits of men (and women, but mostly men) in, well, kilts.

The event helped benefit the Caledon Library system, and 60% of the proceeds were marked for the Library. Unfortunately, Kathy forgot to take pictures - an uncharacteristic lapse, as we are both "shutterbugs" - but she purchased the two examples seen below.

First, Baron Klaus Wulfenbach is seen in a variety of poses - including, ladies, some views of the Baron's, ah, sculpted chest. (If one likes that sort of thing, of course. It wasn't hard to see why Kathy bought that particular portrait!)

Below, we have Sir JJ Drinkwater, Librarian Extraordinaire, engaging in library-ish duties with colleagues Nonesuch Ra and Theobald Denimore (if I have divined the identities correctly).

Now, I've been in many libraries, having enjoyed the fruits of librarian labors for many years. I had always wondered what went on behind the scenes, and now I know.
