Steampunk, Your Roots are Showing

Because of a prior commitment, I was unable to attend the opening of the exhibit on the Victorian Roots of Steampunk, curated by Mr. Bartleby Kidd, at the Steelhead Public Library through June 2. Later in the day, I snuck into the library to have a look at the exhibit.

Interspersed among the scientific devices are a series of posters, each prepared to supply a notecard on demand. Each notecard provides several links to Aetheric references. Topics include Victorian adventure stories, scientific romance stories, and mysteries, as well as a discussion of the modern steampunk genre.

Within the constraints of the notecard format, I found the cards to be quite helpful, and heartily recommend the lengthy journey to Steelhead for a visit.
